I keep feeling no matter what happens, no matter what’s exposed, no matter what we do, even with the DOJ & FBI starting to get involved, we somehow haven’t gotten to the bottom of why certain cops are intent on murdering people. There is a deeper evil here than we have yet named.
Brother of #MarioGonzalez: “the police killed my brother in the same way they killed #GeorgeFloyd.” Gonzalez family has seen Alameda PD body cam video & they say police had their weight on Mario’s neck & his back. “Everything we saw in this video was unnecessary...” @nbcbayarea

It's called a country with no real culture. "Rule of law" doesn't count. As a country, we really don't believe in anything. School shootings, cop killings, astronomical economic inequality, misery all around us. We don't care. We just do not care.

We have to do something. For sure. But, the deeper evil you speak of is also the oldest. Legion. The only way we win is to band together against the only true enemy. Legion. Right now we are under the spell that we are each others enemy. Until that changes, this repeats.

Napoleon Complex. The cop kept saying stop resisting as he bent Mario's arm in an uncomfortable position--making him squirm. The other cop said turn him on his side, but the killer cop would not do it. Murder!

It will keep repeating over and over again until we create something different ... We need college educated people trained in ... Medicine ... Social Work ... NO X-MILITARY ... and ... NO GUNS ... and we can give traffic tickets electronically ... no need to pull people over!!!!

I worked for a short time in law enforcement, I left due to an injury. In my opinion, a sort of us v. them mentality develops. Education is not as valued in the career as physical force seems to be. Education opens minds and changes perspectives.
