We can quibble about specific issues (I certainly do), but the fact that a president said in a speech to the nation that trickle down economics is a failure is huge. And even more huge is how many Americans on both Right and Left now get that he's correct.

People aren't all one thing or the other, especially in politics. I can disagree passionately with him on certain political issues and still respect the way he's trying to go about doing things. He's an honorable man, and that's everything after what we just went through.

A war monger, accused sexual offender is HONORABLE? JFC how many ppl does he need to kill or abuse to take THAT title away? As always, you’re the mom handing out cookies. And you are exactly right. It is those like yourself that are doing the real damage.

I respect you Marianne but Biden is not honorable

I’m sorry, but it’s really hard to stomach the, “He’s an honorable man” BS. An honorable man wouldn’t put profit over people, allowing thousands upon thousands to die from lack of healthcare, not waive the vaccine IP patents, & so many more insufferable conditions he enables.

So what if he says trickle down econ has failed if he refused to give $2000 and didn't fight at all for #15minwage?? That was literally his chance to move away from trickle down and he did nothing. Just cuz his platitudes sound good dont make him honorable. It Makes him a liar 🤣

Yah but Obama gave great speeches too and never delivered for the working class. I'll believe it when I see it.

These two presidents back to back are showing us the dark and the light sides of our consciousness as a nation. Let’s hope the light side wins out!
