Republicans in Congress view money as something to be dropped like crumbs from the table of corporate aristocrats in the form of job creation. Democrats in Congress say “No, you deserve more than crumbs! We’ll give you a cookie!” I think everyone should get to feast at the table.

Well, to make a cookie, you need: water irrigation, land, fertilizer, wheat, rye, barley, sugarcane, butter, eggs, vanilla, farmers, manufacturers, etc. Everyone of those ingredients are made with employers and employees. Working as a team to get the cookie to your table.

The Congress is the furthest thing from a Corporation. Corporations which spend money it doesn't have is doomed to go bankrupt because they can't create wealth out of thin air.

Hell if we are paying the money, then we should have more say about where the money goes. This just doesn't make any sense that our money is literally being held hostage by a few people that most of the country don't even like.
