During the Trump presidency there was a singular focus on resisting his agenda. The work at a time like this is even harder, less adrenaline-filled. It’s the more complicated work of resisting the conditions that produced him to begin with.

Not just resisting. It's also hard to actively pursue and create new things where so much has been neglected in so many directions. But there is openness and possibility. People need not just "No", but "Yes we can ... together." The cynicism is deadly.

Saying yes to something new is always saying no to something old. Not fighting the old, but letting it die. And sometime that means non-violent resistance.

Whether or not politicians want to jump on the new train of thought right now might not matter. Young people & the market will help influence what happens. Malls? EVs? Solar? AI? POC in positions of power? UBI? I feel an explosion of ideas & possibilities coming.
