An economic system based more on competition than collaboration will not only fail to solve humanity’s greatest challenges over the next 100 years. It actually created most of them & if allowed to will perpetuate them. We need a fundamental disruption of our economic status quo.

Taxation that doesn’t favor the richest. End corporate subsidies. Regulate industry and financial institutions. Anti-trust. Wealth tax. Medicare for all. Better schools for all. Free college. Green New Deal. Higher minimum wage. Union protection. Those things get the ball rolling

We've had regulation in the past. Clinton started de-regulation. The corporatist capitalist owners subvert regulations. We've seen oil companies skirt regulations. Cheney got exempted from fracking regs. Wall Street finds holes in the regs. all the time.

It was Reagan who started the orgy of de-regulation.

As a veteran who has been at death's door thanks to government healthcare the V.A. hospital...@SenateVA I'd not wish bureaucratic healthcare on anyone! Y'all really want care managed by lowest bidder? #THINK for once!
THE WOODFORD TAX Need a $20TR+/yr GLOBAL wealth tax on those with > $30MM net assets & corporations/foundations with net assets above some amount to be determined (achievable with The Woodford Tax design). The Woodford Tax would be avoidance-impervious
Lets start with an easy one: Everyone pays taxes. Say 19% across the board. No exceptions or loopholes.
