An economic system based more on competition than collaboration will not only fail to solve humanity鈥檚 greatest challenges over the next 100 years. It actually created most of them & if allowed to will perpetuate them. We need a fundamental disruption of our economic status quo.

"highly regulated free market capitalism" nothing lower than politicians who know nothing about economics trying to control our economy

Nah that's just a rhetorical tactic to push for capitalism more and then blame socialists for the problems that arise. You've all done it before, won't work again
Capitalism cannot be regulated. The fact that we need to regulate "the invisible hand of the market" is contradictory and will always fail as it did so many times. We must dismantle it and build a Worker's owned system (cooperatives replacing corporations).

This tweet contradicts your first one. Capitalism has to end.

Capitalism is an economic system based on the exploitation of one group of people, the workers, by another group of people, the bosses. By definition, workers produce more by their labor than they receive in a wage. Why would you want to keep such a system?

ok but that market capitalism part is responsible for human suffering, why keep it?

I support a mix of dragon blood and Hobbit beer. Sounds good, doesn't exist and if so, would poison your kidney. My idea is still less fantasy

There is no such thing as unregulated supply side capitalism. Spending for the general welfare isn't socialism, it isn't helping anything when people call it that.

So fascism. Got it.

Highly regulated and free market capitalism are mutually exclusive terms.
