An economic system based more on competition than collaboration will not only fail to solve humanity’s greatest challenges over the next 100 years. It actually created most of them & if allowed to will perpetuate them. We need a fundamental disruption of our economic status quo.

There is no principled difference between whites having the right to regulate blacks, and the government having the right to regulate the citizens. If people are acting peacefully, no third party has the right to coercively interfere.

Welfare state capitalism is still capitalism. Having public schools and single-payer health care can coexist with brutal exploitation (especially of workers in other countries--welfare states are still imperialist).
