I don't get the "You vote alone" comment. They're not willing to vote as a block and exert the power that comes from that?

I kind of got what she was getting at towards the end. She was saying essentially, if you vote against the grain, she could be losing out on favors for her district. Not excusing it, but I’m just trying to get in her head because I think she was being honest here

But all members of the Squad represent districts that reflect essentially the same values. So at a certain point they make a political calculation how best to serve all their districts, and decide whether that means acting as a team in the way they vote.

She is slowly turning into a politician, smh... with all the baggage that comes with that: obfuscation, deflection, saying stuff which kinda makes it look like you are answering the question, but in reality bot saying anything to rock the boat too much

Power in numbers is the whole point of getting "progressives" in the House. To pretend they're on their own is just not how this is supposed to work. "You vote alone" is a dodge. Really put off by that response.

Replying to @briebriejoy
Kyle Kulinski: progressives were sent to Congress to vote as a block;to replicate the way the Tea Party succeeded but this is for those who still believe in the long game;I do not bc in the long run you are dead;the long game is killing people now!

Before the speaker vote, Rashida & Ilhan made it clear in interviews they were good with Pelosi. AOC spoke out. AOC & Bush held back voting to the end but there wasn’t even one more that would have been needed. AOC & Bush are not the problem w/ block voting.

It’s called a “cop out” & the squad have proven themselves obsolete. Prove me wrong. ✌🏼

They're not a big enough bloc for that to matter. That's why you endorsed a bunch of candidates; to reinforce them and build up that bloc.

I still want to replace Republicans & centrists with leftists. I think we can still end a lot of b.s. the center is pulling by out numbering them. If we don't keep replacing them we will stay where we are. Many candidates we asked to run last year for next years mid terms.
