It's an interesting concept. But I wonder if all the levels of government will make this an impossible nightmare. In South Jersey, where I live, eg there's been discussion for 20 years to build a 20 mile light rail line. But it's been mired down in studies, etc...for eons.

Most Americans don’t care ☹️ Solar installs have been FREE since 2013. & the electricity is 20% less than Fossil Fuels per Kw . But most folks decline to switch . Very sad.
