If you’re passing voter suppression laws, criminalizing peaceful protest and legalizing violence against protesters, you’re not just a party that’s “run out of ideas.” You’re a party bent on destroying our democracy if that’s what it takes for you to remain in power.

And that would also be democrats because they're blocking 3rd party votes.

Both parties have their issues, that’s for sure. George Washington warned us about political parties, saying they would create “factions of men more interested in their party than in their country.”

Consider pushing for ranked-choice voting, which can help other parties become viable, such as the green party and left parties.

Personally I don’t think its so much the parties per se that is the problem, but corporations. They are manipulating both sides to ensure they hold the true power. As long as our society is driven by greed instead of the welfare of the citizens those in power will be corrupted

Both parties have huge issues. They’re both so extreme now it’s to the point of absurdity. Like watching children one-up each other with their ridiculous ideas that don’t resemble anything close to caring about people. Seems like no one grasps or even notices how crazy they are.

YES! And for years I have written and spoken about how we need to do away with parties and have independent candidates run on #ISSUES and EXPERIENCE (like long-time community activists for justice and equality, leaders who know what regular people face). + ranked choice voting.

Agreed. Policies, not politics.
