The last time our military did something morally acceptable was fighting in WWII. From there it just evolved to become a brutal imperialist force to impose the will of the oligarchs that own our country.

You’re right that our abusive and belligerent foreign policy has undermined our diplomatic standing in the world. Beyond that, militarism is a roadblock on the struggle for climate justice.
