2/ The environmental crisis and the political/economic corruption that perpetuate it are all fueled by humanity’s lack of reverence and devotion to anyone and anything but ourselves. An overly materialized worldview counterintuitively leads to violence toward the material world.

I think Nature starving and sickening us, sending big and small animals to eat us, killing half our kids, and making the mistake of giving us a brain capable of finding ways to reduce those agonies, is the biggest contributor to our environmental crisis.

A republican TikToker made a video asking progressives how they’re going to replace the “traditional” structures we oppose, and this thought came to mind. We should not abandon religion completely but replace it with those modeled after the ancient one’s imbedded in nature.

Again Marianne you grossly oversimplify That whole living in harmony with nature circa 60's paganistic revival has very little bearing on real Pagan beliefs and practices which were often extremely bloodthirsty you pick and choose what you showcase ignoring less pleasant aspects
