1/ In a very real way, the shift from a pagan earth-based spirituality to the patriarchal Christian notion of man’s right to dominate nature was a causal factor contributing to what would one day become our environmental crisis.

2/ The environmental crisis and the political/economic corruption that perpetuate it are all fueled by humanity’s lack of reverence and devotion to anyone and anything but ourselves. An overly materialized worldview counterintuitively leads to violence toward the material world.

Let’s remember the Doctrine of Discovery . Look it up those who are interested. God is our Mother. God is in whatever God created- everything.

The biggest mistake of early Christianity was taking Mary out of the Trinity. For the last 2000 years Western Civilization has suffered from a huge cultural deceit in not having a strong concept of the Divine Feminine.

I will say that you're absolutely correct... But this issue isn't found in scripture. This is found in the hearts of humanity who take something that supposed to be 1 thing and twist it to sooth our own destructive desires. YHWH told Adam to Lord over earth, not to rape earth.

As a christian I accept full responsibly for how the church has completely abandoned the most basic assigned of being the keepers of earth.... Western Christianity is largely a heretical theological framework. The hardest thing about being a Christian is apologizing for heretics

But to critique pagan earth based spirituality... Pagans are not scotch free. Many pagan cultures sacrificed humans and children to forces of nature to bring about a better harvest or to end droughts... How many ancient worship of animals involve some sort of human sacrifice?

Humans will take ANYTHING originally meant for good and completely twist it to our desires. If anything, this is just vindication of the most basic tenant of Christ theological framework... That humans are completely incapable of sustaining and not twisting a good thing

Respectfully, it's the abrahamic religions in general (judaism, christianity, and islam) that are patriarchal. It's not just a christian thing.
