that’s about as logical as arguing that because we have more guns per capita and in total than any nation on earth, that we would be safer and less likely to be killed from gun incidence. How’s that working out? it’s time to declare peace, bummer that nobody listens to me

I would posit it makes us less secure as this overly-macho MIC has bled out into everyday civilian live. And the CIA was created to institute and re-enforce actions against any good actor(s) who think military could standby until force against any bad actor(s) is actually needed!
