1/ At the onset of WW2 the United States did not even have a standing military...and along with others we still won the war. It was only at the end of WW2 that the “defense industry” was created....

3/ The myth has been created that a huge defense industry is necessary for our security. Yet it is nothing but that: a myth. The gargantuan size of our military expenditure does not represent increased safety for us or for others; in many ways it represents more danger.

We vacillate on founders intent around 2nd Amendment but one thing is astoundingly clear with glance at history: their biggest fear was a standing army. Every single speaker in Continental Congress before the Bill of Rights ratification spoke on this fear huffpost.com/entry/what-the-…

Does the “Defense” budget also fund the “National Guard” that is occupying major cities and using chemical weapons against peaceful demonstrators? We need International intervention, our political system has been hijacked by the MIC and is terrorizing the World (including the US)

America's economy is completely dependent on the Military Industrial Complex, if you were somehow to stop funding it, the economy would collapse like it was 1929. This is not to say we need to keep funding it, but that we need a new economy. thevenusproject.com/resource…
