I think what he's talking about is separation ... to see the evil ... to see the crucifixion ... and yet ... not dwell on it ... don't get consumed by it.

Evil is a funny thing. It hides in plain view. Our Presidents have been Evil and yet they smile to fool us all. JFC, did @BarackObama kill a lot of people and had the nicest smile. The perfect example of thinking he's one of the good guys but not. We need a Pres who will end war.

Still in the 'evil' always shocks me stage. HOW evil, or unfeeling still shocks me.

500 years ago epilepsy was seen as "evil" (demon possession). I wonder if sometime in the future will we find some other natural explanation for what we now call evil?
