Republicans believe in equal opportunity, freedom, and justice for all. We teach our children the values of tolerance, decency and moral courage. Racism, nativism, and anti-Semitism are evil. History teaches we all have an obligation to confront & reject such malicious hate.
People need to distill those values and apply them to current real world situations. In the past a violation looked like ___. In the now it may be different groups. People need to know the principles otherwise they will miss the violations that are different from the past.
