Sarah Halimi was murdered because she was Jewish. France's highest court has ruled that her killer will not stand trial due to his “delirious state” from smoking marijuana. This is a terrible day for Sarah's family, French Jews, and all committed to fighting antisemitism.

about to knee jerk reaction to this then I remembered..strong weed can and does cause psychotic breaks in folk who have psychosis or underlying serious psychiatric illness (I'm not talking about depression or anxiety but true delusional psychotic illness) but alcohol can as well
