We need a complete re-invention of policing in America.
Chicago is releasing bodycam video of the police killing of #AdamToledo, who was a 13-year-old boy. Police claim there was an "armed confrontation" and shot him in the chest. The mayor says she saw "no evidence whatsoever" that Toledo shot at police. (Photo: Elizabeth Toledo)

And better parenting.

Even though the body cam pictures show Adam with his hands raised and empty, the right wing scum on social media are claiming, “he got what he had coming”. I have no interest in reaching out for any basis of unity with these psychopaths and sadistic bastards.

They do not vet police officers very well anymore, they just hire anybody. They do not train them properly either. There should be a full mental evaluation and mental/emotional stress tests to see how they react, before they hand them a gun.

Yes ... Nothing but College graduates ... trained in medicine and conflict resolution ... without guns ... with the exception for a small ... well trained ... force to deal with bank robberies, etc.

I agree- but it is interesting that you are putting all energy into “safe and politically correct” issues that are guaranteed not to result in deplatforming and not a peep about the extraordinary efforts to annihilate freedom from the entire human race.

A 13-year-old had not been home in two days & was hanging with a gang banger. Both he & the 21 yr old had guns. We do need to reimagine policing. We also need to do better as parents.

We need to redirect their money. Every other business and government agency is judged by results. More police money results in more deaths and doesn’t lower crime.

How many times has that been said or written since police were invented in the late 1830's? Been racist and/or corrupt since their birth and purpose, so kind of hard to keep asking the scorpion to stop stinging the frog.
