There is a better safety net and generally happier population in these countries. Unfortunately the US cultivates a culture of violence and paranoia to make up for it’s shortcomings.

The time of training is ONE issue. Here’s more: —the use of pro-violence pedagogy like Grossman’s ‘Killology’ book —a LACK of both instruction & yearly testing on material compiled by the ACLU & NAACP (also, this should be a good 1/2 of police instruction) —Lack of CPI training
