Cool, but those deaths too could have been preventable without the existence of police. You can advocate for training all you want but America is never going to stop putting weapons in the hands of people who self-select to “uphold the peace” by squashing insurgency

As a german, I hate these kind of Posts. The german Police may kill less people but is full of Neo Nazis and commits violence fairly and if they commit violence there is no accountability. No amount of training will fix a racist institution.

I don't disagree that police could use more training, it might help some. But I think there are other things at play here. This country has a lot of guns, and a culture that says that police bad/don't comply with police. That adds to it.

So Norway has 8000 police officers. Finland has 7300. Germany has Employees 51,315 (1 September 2020) The USA has 697,195. NYC has more cops than Norway and Finland combined with 36,000. Apples to banana huh
