There are USA private military contractors with bases on Antarctica...

Unless we turned that into a healthcare machine. Imagine shifting the military even 10% away from soldiers and towards medical personnel.... Scholarships / recruitment etc... Imagine 70 more hospitals in the world, with 700 more nurses, 350 more docs...

800 bases to be exact. And for what? The Japanese have wanted us gone for many years.

It's called an empire, no, not like empires of the past where armies were required to hold territory, but the new age imperialism of overthrowing people's governments and installing friendly government that allows our bases and gives their nations resources to our corporations.

Ok so if we dismantle the United States military dare I ask what you think the Russian and or Chinese military complex would do?

As you said during the campaign ... if a third of the personal and a third of the budget for each one of those bases was put toward ... PEACE BUILDING ... it really would be a much safer World.

Exactly how many or what percentage of countries object to our military presence? I hear Americans object to our global military presence all the time but I seldom hear about foreigners objecting to it. Either I am just not listening, or they overwhelmingly don't object to it.
