The United States has military bases in 70 countries, on every continent except Antarctica. Our gargantuan global military presence does not make the world safer; if anything it makes it more dangerous.

Yes, we old hippy peaceniks have been saying it since Viet Nam. It's where the War on drugs came from, to help stifle & silence the Left & the more "radical" of the Civil Rights crusaders like Black Panthers. We're a vast banana republic & the bananas are weapons & wars. Peace!
