Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate from 21 to 28% but Manchin won’t go beyond 25%. Giving a low corporate tax rate to multi-billion dollar industries that pay their workers survival wages & their CEOs tens of millions of dollars a year is not competitive, it’s immoral

Maybe we should begin negotiations at a trillion percent.

The US corporate tax rate used to be 35%, not too long ago either. That would be a much more suitable level and might actually help get something useful done. Although the biggest corps would have to actually PAY the tax...
How about the corps that pay nothing? Maybe ask them to contribute.

It was 35% pre-trump, why doesn't he revert it back, 28% from the guy wrote the crime bill and stopped bankruptcy protection from millions of people just before a recession

28% is still too low.

Throw in a real, livable minimum wage, $20/hour, limit executive pay, close loopholes and maybe the rate could be slightly lower.
