If you read up on the science, you would know weakly radioactive, dilute tritiated water is of no consequence to any form of life whatsoever, and that the ocean has natural radioactivity in it from uranium and thorium.

Water is an incredible radiation shield. We store highly radioactive fuel rods in pools of water while they cool. You can swim in that water with zero ill effects.
