Apparently we're NOT #AllInThisTogether... However it ultimately gets reined in to some more reasonable balance, this level of inequality ought not, and in fact cannot, last.

what's it gonna take for the political establishment to admit that the basic system that allowed this to happen--over SEVERAL presidencies--is the problem, and that minor tweaks aren't going to resolve it or stop it from happening again?

You mean a year in which the government forcibly shut down businesses and vastly regulated the free market we saw more concentrated wealth among people who already have wealth??!? Omg no way.
