1/ America has too short a memory. The sound of no investigations pending regarding criminal investigations into Barr, Miller and other bad actors from the Trump administration is growing deafening.

2/ Has Garland decided to basically let it all go but not mention it? I get that Matt Gaetz is a sexual scumbag but I think thousands of children being forcibly separated from their parents at the border is worse. Gaetz but not Steven Miller?

3/ This country never recovered from the fact that we never definitively learned who killed JFK. Ford pardoning Nixon was another bad mark for American justice. People don’t just “move on” in those cases; a poison lingers in the air.

4/ Moving forward now without attempting any prosecution or possible punishment of those who worked assiduously to destroy our democracy for 4 years, is unacceptable. Without fear of reprisal, those people will use the next 4 years to plan how to do it again but better next time.

Marianne, it will take a bold iconoclast to dismantle both sociopathic and partisan sides of the Empire- and the illusions of the collective psyche. Dems have proven to be culpable & complicit. Dems are a really ineffective chemo to GOP cancer. Lesser evil will not vanquish evil.
