Colonization isn’t just about culture or land; it’s also about economics & personality. Too many people feel they have to live with in a corporate straightjacket at the expense of their eccentricities or inherent wildness, truncating their souls & limiting their creativity & joy.

I hate my corporate job for this very reason. I feel so unfree there. That’s why I working at home has been such an amazing boon- it has freed me so much. It’s just so restrictive and so suffocating. I bet most people would quit the day they won the lottery.
