As long as short term corporate profits take precedence over the health and well-being of people & planet, the best we can do is manage America’s decline...just making it slower & more prolonged. We need a fundamental pattern disruption, a coalition of conscience & consciousness.

Corporations are the people. People and corporations build wealth and value, government does not. Government is one of the few organizations that is incapable of creating value. Poverty rates at the beginning of humankind were 100% government didn't change that. People did.

It’s part of it ... but only if done well. Some want UBI at the expense of other safety nets, which would only make things worse for a lot of people.
