One of the most dysfunctional aspects of our system is how it fails to support a younger generation in living their dreams. Withholding support for education etc we withhold support for the future, not only hoarding resources for one group of people but also for one point in time

The Fed props up asset prices while the tax code shields asset holders from higher "earned" income rates. This helps the young who own all the assets, don't have to work and live off rental incomes. Wait, what?

College costs are insane & so unfair. My daughter was accepted to several universities but cant actually go to any of them bc it costs too much! As a single mom I never could save anything, much less for her college ed. She was crushed! She wanted to study film at Portland State.
