The people who planned and executed the family separation policy should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Child abuse and kidnapping are crimes, no less criminal when sponsored by the state.

NEW: President Biden’s family separation task force has identified 5,600 “yet-to-be-reviewed” files for evidence of additional family separations under the Trump administration, according to a senior DHS official who briefed reporters on the progress of the task force today.

This is why I half jokingly think that after the Presidency ever single President should get a show trial followed by life imprisonment, because it's impossible to hold that office without doing some horrendous stuff.
