Later this week, I'll be in Utah to discuss the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments. I'll meet with Tribes, elected federal, state and local leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss how we can be good stewards of these sacred landscapes.

Shifting from exploiter to stewards is a cosmopolitan leap and would change our usual frames of reference. And the meek shall inherit the Earth reference might be exactly this.

Thank you. We cannot do more damage to our country’s first citizens! I live in OKla. lived in WY. Tribal citizens Still living in poverty. Tribes also need to get busy.
