The US government didn’t put a price tag on how much it was willing to pay to defeat Hitler, and it shouldn’t put a price tag on how much it’s willing to pay to mitigate climate change. Money should not be the determining factor in defeating an existential threat.

What I’m saying is that both represent an existential threat to humanity. What we need is MORE world leaders to take it that seriously. What’s ridiculous is that some do not.

What’s more ridiculous is that you compared a group who wanted to eliminate entire races from the planet simply due to their heritage to CLIMATE CHANGE, which is a natural function of an ever-evolving planet.

Imagine the survivors of Dachau and Auschwitz, who suffered brutal and inhuman torture just because of their race, thinking “yeah, climate change is exactly the same as what we went through”.
