One of the first things Trump did as president was to pass an executive order saying that for every regulation in any agency there had to be two corresponding deregulations. One of the first things Biden did was to repeal that executive order. Thank God.

We need to get smart like newt the malevolent genius, and start reframing and renaming things in a way that makes the argument by itself. Perhaps “regulations” need to be called more closely to what they are, human protections on things that caused mass harm.
