All Americans could have clean food & drinking water. We could be proper stewards of animals & earth. We could fight strongly climate change & run on clean energy. We could cancel college loan debt & truly stand for peace & democracy in the world. We could...but we choose not to.

It,s cheaper to breach'er. Piney Point "catastrophic disaster".They,ve had a permit since 2001 to dump it 100 miles into the gulf. How many well paid, private sector created jobs "down the drain?" No jobs, a guy with a wrench, and a clerk to fill out the federal disaster subsidy

We could have all these things. But we won't until we realize that unchecked Capitalism is the root of all suffering. We have been trained to believe that the accumulation of material wealth equates to a person worth as an individual.
