Every American could have healthcare. Every American child could have a world-class education. Every American could have the education or training to give them a fair chance at an abundant life. Every worker in America could have a fair wage. We could...but we choose not to.

Ah.... technology has changed that. Even the highly educated struggle today. You are out of touch with automation. Sorry, but @ZeitgeistFilm has deeper insights.

This world of utopia sounds great. But tell me, Marianne, who’s going to clean the sewers?
I choose freedom over government control. I don’t want a CCP style education with CRT brainwashing and I don’t want crappy gubment VA healthcare for everyone either. Thanks but no thanks.

Capitalism forces this oppression in the name of profits.

We don’t choose not to. That is negative. We need a path and a program to achieve this.

It’s not that we choose not too. It’s that the only two real options (only two by the design of these two corporate parties) we have to vote for choose not to. Whether it’s a Republican or democrat super majority, magically none of this ever happens.

Trying to sell a revolution of rising expectation is cruel. The government always takes care of itself first. You can not ask people to put their faith there.

WE don’t choose that. Our pols have chosen to put their interests over the people of this country. Every prob in this country has been made by pols, to benefit themselves. ALL OF THEM. To keep pretending it’s anything else, or not naming it, is disingenuous.
