Tens of millions are poor in America so .001% of our population can be very very rich, for no other reason than that their money floods Washington. Nothing you don’t already know but somehow it always seems to me to bear repeating. #WealthTax

Piney Point "catastrohic disaster" proves your point. 20 years of well paid, private sector created jobs, "down the drain". No jobs, a guy with a wrench and a clerk to fill out federal disaster subsidy.

Marianne, please explain to me how you will tax wealth. I already pay property tax on my real estate. I pay capital gains on dividends. I pay income tax on my wages. Now you want to tax the perceived values of —what? And how. Please explain.

No one is poor so that others can be rich. I don’t even understand what that means. How do you think money works?

Yes, but if you keep capitalism capitalists and their bought politicians will undo any progress made, as they did with the New Deal. The system is the sickness

Taxing the wealthy does nothing for the poor, but the poor should have as much influence on politics as the wealthy. Special interest influence should be eliminated.
