A status quo doesn’t disrupt itself. If anything it seeks to perpetuate itself, co-opting whatever might otherwise be disruptive ideas in an effort to maintain itself. Oil companies say they’re “green,” food companies say “natural flavors,” military says “be all that you can be.”

I think that's true ... we're all trying to survive ... Surviving ... is a defensive mode, and is based on Fear ... a pushing back or a pushing away ... where ... Thriving ... is an embrace, based on Love ... a welcoming, a willingness to accept what ever comes down the road.

They military does not say that. First of all, that was the Army. Second of all, that was back when I was a kid in high school 20 years ago.. You continue to prove how out of touch you are & why it is a glld thing you are not President & you should not be making laws or policies

I don't blame Big Money as much as I blame the everyday People that falls for the spin. If the whole country wouldn't allow that kind of behavior, things would stop.

True. Also true status quo seeks to perpetuate itself by telling voters to go ahead and vote for a lesser evil💁🏼‍♂️

I tend to correlate power structures (social hierarchies) with the role that the Ego plays within the individual. The Ego demands control. It desperately clings to "order" in fear of chaos and uncertainty. The more tightly it clings (stronger the fear), the harder it will fall...
