More than 2 million of our children are traumatized by homelessness, further traumatized by policeman breaking up the homeless camp, likely traumatized at school, then called a “mental health crisis” & often end up in jail; yet the system offers little more than more brute force.

This is precisely why I am such a strong advocate for Mental Health and Wellbeing. It is not acceptable for ANYONE to be abused or traumatized, but in lieu of a reasonable prevention for those crises, victims of abuse and trauma need effective treatment to heal.

Marianne, anything you can do to help get out the msg that this country has dismantled the mental health system is appreciated a lot. We need to rebuild the mental health system including expanded insurance coverage for mental health.
