This is why we need to shift from a market-based to a humanitarian based economy. All policy should be guided by a single question: what would help people thrive? It would a different - and much better - world.

It’s tough to outrun supply and demand. Regulate the upper and lower bounds is probably the best you can hope for. Paying people 6k a month is meaningless. Someone still needs to do all the work that nobody would volunteer to do.

OK but "thrive" doesn't mean "be able to reproduce as either sex." The most important thing right now is to preserve sex and reproductive rights as we were born. We don't have a right to reproduce as the sex we were not born.
