Just accept that this unholy mess is unlikely to ease up any time before summer 2022 and quit the "relief" seesawing. The US can throw boatloads of money at the wealthy and pinches its pennies for the vast majority of citizens. There is no strength in such a lopsided nation.

Is the U.S. close to Emergency UBI? I know the direct payments are not quite 'Universal' but if you get recurring direct payments then that is great. We in the UK are not getting any direct payments whatsoever.
