There is something so vile about this. Obviously, the assault itself. But the security guard just looked on and did nothing? The other one just closed the door and didn’t even go help her? Several people should be held responsible here.

NYPD says 65-year-old Asian American woman was walking to church this morning when suspect assaulted her and said “f*** you, you don’t belong here.” Happened in front of 360 W. 43rd St. 11:40am. Sources say building security guard not only failed to render her aid... 1/2

You blame them but a lot of cases... these guys would get sacked and are told where the company insurance cover ends so if they do go do something...they ain't covered You'd like to think that wouldn't matter but if you've got a family ???

What’s most vile is what’s most vile about the worst hate crimes anywhere. It’s not the severity of the violence and cruelty, which varies. It’s the indifference and worse yet, normalization of hatred. Very dangerous, and inherently corrosive to the spirit even in small doses.
