Unregulated capitalism is a scourge on our planet, a parasite sucking the lifeblood out of our species, and a one-way ticket to global destruction. If we continue to allow concerns of the marketplace to dominate how we function, we won’t last on this planet for another 100 years

Capitalism is freedom. So you are basically saying there is too much freedom and you want government standing between you and anyone you choose to trade with.

Don’t you think that “concerns of the marketplace” have had a positive effect over the last 20 years as the public has learned more? “Sustainable” is an ad word now.

We need to wean ourselves off incontinent gorging and consuming- this is sufficient to bring the tail end, Capitalism, under control. It’s the most successful system to date for generating liberty and development but our current application of it is coarse rampant and untethered.
