grow local food! even a tiny community garden can produce 100 POUNDS of food every month, and the materials to get started cost less than $1000. every bit helps. no act of progress or healing is too small. we need everybody to do everything to stop this catastrophe ASAP

Let me get this straight , you are overly concerned about the hungry people in the world but now downing farming ( which is where FOOD comes ) because it may kill some birds. Birds >starving kids. Liberal logic

Industrialized farming is the primary reason that millions of people are fed and aren't starving to death. Such farms, and employing GM seeds is why so many more people can be fed while using fewer acres of land.
