American children and their teachers have been the guinea pigs in our Covid response, sacrificed at the altar of what officialdom has perceived to be our economic interests.
There have been new World Wide outbreaks in schools from the new Corvid Variants ... All teachers and school employees should have at least one shot by the end of this month ... Most schools have NO ventilations systems ... Are Schools Safe? ... I don't think so! ... Not Yet!
These new variants are attacking children all over the world ... and for some ... there could be long term learning disabilities that are never overcome!
Gotta disagree with you on this one. There have been a whole range of responses, there are no easy answers on this, and the research has often pointed in different directions.
The district I work for is currently being pushed to reopen. Many teachers don't have health insurance and the school district won't even commit to mandating masks. It's a joke.
