Do people on this thread not think that receiving $300 a month per child is a big deal? That’s $900 a month, $10800 a year if you have 3 children. No strings attached. And this is likely to be permanent. I think that’s a cause for celebration, not complaints that it’s not enough.

I'm confused as to how $300/month cuts child poverty in half when $300 won't cover even 1 week of daycare.
