Is it like Sophie's Choice? which child gets out of poverty? Whatever they're going to do to end half, just double it and end all child poverty. We're the wealthiest country in the history of the world

Stop having kids when you can’t take financial responsibility for the ones you have!!! Stop rewarding giving birth to kids you can’t support by using taxpayer money to support them. Start holding parents, married or not financially accountable!!!

Classic centrist messaging. Doing just enough to earn themselves a splashy headline. The Biden era is officially in full swing.

That's "cut in half" for six months.

It doesn't even cut poverty in half. The study that made that claim was only if min. wage raise was included and if a higher unemployment benefit had passed. And even then the federal poverty line is an awful bar.

Didn't Trump essentially do that?

Lol. Projected by who. Need source please... And it has to be for the bill that passed, not the one with 15 min wage and more benefits that was actually projected to cut child poverty in half. Shameless
