Each year more people by far die of chronic diseases caused by a bad food system than have died of coronavirus, but we don't treat it as a national emergency. Why? Because chemical companies, food companies, and big agricultural companies make trillions of dollars off that system

Solutions not difficult. Don’t need more books. Restore democracy/economic power/monetary authority to local ppl/communities. US looks like Rome in final stages. Corruption/selfishness/radicalization by ruling class. US dithers in political barbs while socioeconomics implode.

Plus, Marianne, as your friend Erin Brokovich reported recently, well, chemicals are a huge cause of infertility too that may make humans extinct sooner than we could ever imagine--by 2045 or so. That's a blink from now!
