Each year more people by far die of chronic diseases caused by a bad food system than have died of coronavirus, but we don't treat it as a national emergency. Why? Because chemical companies, food companies, and big agricultural companies make trillions of dollars off that system

Same is happening with corona as well. People are making millions by spreading fear about corona to sells stuff.

And Big Pharma is making trillions on this pandemic as well. We the tax payers funded their “research and development”, while they own the patents and keep all the money from the “guaranteed” purchasing of the vaccines. They are also exempt from liability, so we pay for that too

Agree that the food industry needs reform, but please don’t downplay the deaths our country suffered from the virus. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

It still infuriates me to this day that so many in the media cast aspersions on your bona fides during the 2020 Presidential nomination campaign. I admire your commitment to humanitarianism and thank you for all you do to make the world a better place. Rock on.

The two problems intersect: The people who suffer and die most often from COVID are those with chronic illnesses promoted by Big Ag and corporate food's Standard American Diet (SAD). These companies make a killing both ways.

...and isn't it CONVENIENT how the 'for profit' healthcare system dovetails so snuggly into that entire system? Charge them money to make them sick, then charge them money to treat the symptoms of their illnesses...then charge them money to bury them.

Just like pharma and the life sciences do off the same system, yet being skeptical of them and their products is ghastly.
