The military industrial complex has so much undue influence on American foreign policy & the only way the situation will change is if We the People demand a fundamentally new conversation. #WagePeace

We need a new peace movement, one that doesn't just oppose specific examples of unnecessary and immoral mililtarism but also articulates a path to the possibility of a world without war by the end of the 21st century.

I appreciate the vision -- but I think we should really start with a foreign policy that simply recognizes that we don't need and shouldn't desire a global infrastructure of bases that are basically designed to kill anyone we want to anywhere on the planet within 25 minutes.
